ISAAC SIMPSON

Mr. Isaac Simpson is a distinguished corporate strategist and finance executive with extensive leadership experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), and financial risk analytics across West Africa. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Advisory and Equity Capital Markets (Corporate and Investment Banking) at Stanbic Bank Ghana, a member of the Standard Bank Group. In this role, he leads transaction structuring, capital market solutions, and macro-economic dialogues centered on sustainable finance and national infrastructure development. 
 
Mr. Simpson began his career specializing in risk analytics at Deloitte West Africa, later advancing to the Deals Advisory unit of KPMG Ghana, where he managed high-stakes corporate valuations and M&A due diligence. A trailblazer in his field, he made history in 2016 at the age of 26 as one of the youngest professionals in West Africa to earn the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, passing all three levels on his first attempt.
 
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), following his foundational education at Achimota School.
